Nora Sahatçiu on Eastern European Integration

Hello everyone!

Today Guilherme Rosales fills in for Joshua Diemert as host to introduce a special interview recorded with PRT last year. In this episode, Sean Wu joins Nora Sahatçiu for a phone interview discussing her work experience with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Kosovar culture and policy frameworks, as well as Eastern European integration.

Nora Sahatçiu is currently a SDGs and Strategic Policy Consultant with the UN Kosovo Team. She has more than fifteen years of work in the UN in Kosovo and Western Balkans’ peacebuilding as well as development programs. Previously, she has worked with the Kosovo Parliament on behalf of UNDP, as inter-communities and intergovernmental mediator with the Center for Conflict Management in Partners Kosova, as well as the Head of the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office of 19 UN organizations in Kosovo.


Guilherme Rosales is a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs student at the University of British Columbia. He has been a wildland firefighter with the BC Wildfire Service for the past five years, a community organizer coordinating neighbourhood block parties from 2011 to 2015 in the Oakridge neighbourhood area of Vancouver, as well as a labour activist and advocate with CUPE 15 and the BCGEU.

Sean Wu is a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs student at the University of British Columbia. With a professional background in digital marketing and academic background in international relations, he looks to create insightful content that will effectively explain complex policy issues to a general audience.
